Learn about the South Side
Containing a rich and complex cultural history, most people don’t know enough about the South Side. Our communities are vibrant, joyful and make up 2/3 of the city. Yet the area is often misunderstood and misrepresented. We’re working with organizations across the South Side to flip the script and show what we see in our neighborhoods every day. Until our reality is the known narrative, here are some recommendations to learn more about the places we call home.
