Available Programs
Chicago offers several programs to help small businesses access capital:
- Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) — Grants for building improvements in eligible areas
- Neighborhood Opportunity Fund — Grants for commercial projects on the South and West sides
- Chicago Microlending Institute — Low-interest microloans from $500 to $250,000
- Property Tax Incentives — Class 7 and Class C tax incentives for commercial rehabilitation
